Animals like Ellie will be safe thanks to you
Ellie was just a puppy. Injured, distressed, and alone. She was found wandering the Slieve Gullion area of County Down.
A kind family brought her to our centre, where our Veterinary Team discovered she had a long-standing leg injury. Sadly, no one had sought treatment at the time she was hurt and because her injury had been left to heal on its own, the damage was irreversible. Her leg had to be amputated.
How Ellie ended up in this condition remains unknown, but the signs suggest she may have been abandoned because of her injury.
Since her surgery and recovery in our care, Ellie has been thriving. Her mobility improves every day, and her playful, affectionate personality is winning hearts throughout the centre.
