Dara McAnulty

The USPCA is thrilled to announce Dara McAnulty as our first-ever Charity Ambassador! Dara, a renowned young naturalist, award-winning author, and passionate advocate for animal welfare and environmental conservation, joins us in our mission to protect and care for animals across Northern Ireland.

Dara has inspired countless individuals with his commitment to nature, compassion for wildlife, and his work as an environmentalist. His award-winning book, Diary of a Young Naturalist, captures his profound connection to the natural world and highlights the importance of respecting and preserving wildlife - a message that aligns perfectly with the USPCA’s values.

As our Charity Ambassador, Dara will help amplify awareness around animal welfare issues, encouraging people to engage with our mission to prevent cruelty, relieve suffering, and care for animals in need.

“We are honoured to have Dara McAnulty as our Charity Ambassador,” said USPCA CEO Nora Smith “His dedication to wildlife conservation and animal welfare is extraordinary, and his voice will help inspire a new generation of compassionate animal advocates across Northern Ireland.”

Dara’s involvement with the USPCA will include supporting key campaigns, participating in outreach efforts, and sharing our work with his audience, bringing greater attention to the needs of animals and the importance of humane, responsible care.

The USPCA looks forward to this inspiring partnership and to the positive impact Dara will have in advancing our cause. Together, we hope to create a more compassionate, caring society for all animals in Northern Ireland.
