About Milo

Meet Milo!

Milo is a handsome, nature-loving husky who was admitted into our care when his previous owners were no longer able to look after him. Milo has been in our care for over 6 months now and he is more than ready to find a home of his own, he can’t wait to start his next adventure!

This happy boy is full of life, character and charm. Milo has a playful personality and has many quirks, he loves playing with leaves - tossing them in the air and pouncing on them, he also loves outdoor adventures where there is water, he loves splashing around and getting his paws wet!

Milo is a bright and curious boy who thrives on mental stimulation. He loves enrichment games such as ‘find it’ and scent-searching activities, using his nose to sniff out hidden treats. We believe that he will flourish in a home where he can keep his mind busy.

Milo enjoys being out and about on his walks, exploring his surroundings and taking in all the interesting sights and smells. He would love an energetic, active family who enjoys adventures just as much as he does. He would not be suited to living in a rural area.

Milo is very sociable and adores human company, he would be best suited to a home with children over 12 years old who are dog-savvy and comfortable around large breeds. Milo would prefer to be the only pet in the home, as he can be nervous around other dogs and likes being centre of attention!

As he settles into his new home, Milo will need patient and understanding owners who can provide reassurance and help him feel secure, particularly if being left alone. Husky experience would be a bonus so his new family can appreciate all his wonderful husky quirks.

The rehoming team at the centre will be happy to provide ongoing support and advice to help with the settling in process and ensure a smooth transition for Milo from the centre to his new home.
