About Duchess
Duchess was admitted into our care through social rehoming as her owner could unfortunately no longer continue to care for her.
Duchess is a loving cat who is very sweet natured and enjoys getting gentle pets and ear scratches. She can be a little shy initially, however once she is familiar with you, she grows in confidence showing you what a lovely cat she truly is.
Duchess has been in foster care for nearly two months now and has already begun to come out of her shell. She is now comfortable spending time with her foster family in the main living area, although she can still be startled by sudden noises and unfamiliar people.
She has also been introduced to the resident cat in her foster home and has been friendly towards him. We believe Duchess could potentially share a home with another calm, laid-back cat, but may prefer a home with no dogs.
Duchess would prefer to find herself a settled, adult-only home where she can snuggle up in a cosy spot or relax by a window watching the world go by.
Once Duchess builds a bond and settles into her environment, we believe that she will make the perfect addition to the right family.
