About Buttercup
Buttercup had a difficult start to life. she was found abandoned in a box, beside a bin alongside her three two week old kittens and was brought into our care by a kind member of the public. After receiving treatment and lots of much needed love and care from our animal care team, Buttercup is now ready to start looking for a forever home of her own.
Buttercup is a very sweet beautiful young cat who has a gentle nature. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she has had time to settle in, her affectionate personality really shines through. She enjoys gentle attention, head scratches and loves spending time with her people.
Buttercup is looking for a quiet, calm and peaceful home where she can take her own time to settle in and build up her confidence with her new family. She would thrive in a settled home with a family who have experience with cats and understand the importance of allowing her time to settle at her own pace. She would be best suited to a home with sensible children aged 8 years old and over who understand she may need space while she settles.
Buttercup may be able to live with another cat of similar personality, but it unknown how she would react to a dog in the home.
Buttercup is not just ready yet to go home but our animal care team are starting to accept enquiries to ensure she finds the perfect home.
