Special charity dog walk raising vital funds for the USPCA.

Bring your own much-loved dog(s) along or just come to enjoy the atmosphere without a four-legged friend, everyone is welcome. It’s a fantastic, budget-friendly opportunity to get outdoors, meet fellow animal lovers, and support a brilliant cause.

Kids are invited to take part in 'Become a Nature Guardian' through the Narnia trail. There will be prizes and each child will get a certificate to take home for completing!

Entry is £25 per doggo and:

  • The first 20 dogs signed up will receive a free USPCA bandana.
  • All registered dogs will automatically be entered into a draw to win a free mini groom at our Groom Room in Newry!

Every single registration helps the USPCA continue its vital work caring for and protecting sick, injured, and abandoned animals across Northern Ireland.

So, come on your own, as a couple, with friends, or bring the whole family for a fab day out in the park!

IMPORTANT DETAILS

THE WALK

Enjoy a leisurely 3km walk through the beautiful Fairy Glen - a gentle, accessible route through ancient woodland and natural scenery in one of Northern Ireland's most loved Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT

This is a community event for animal lovers of all kinds. Come with your dog, come with your family, come with your friends - all are welcome.

Please keep dogs on leads throughout the event.

TICKETS

£25 is a general entry fee for one dog and all humans (big and little). Additional dogs can be added for £5 per dog, all within the same booking. If you're signing up without a dog, the entry fee is £10.

Once you've registered, you'll receive a personalised fundraising form - so if you'd like to raise a little extra sponsorship from friends and family, we'd love that too, but there's absolutely no pressure. Every penny raised supports the USPCA's vital work caring for animals in need across Northern Ireland.

Bookings are non-refundable but may be transferrable depending on the availability of alternative venues. If we need to completely cancel the event, you'll recieve a full refund.

WEATHER

The safety of you and your animals is paramount to us and therefore, if it's too hot, or blowing a gale, we may have to reschedule the event.

GETTING THERE & PARKING

The registration point will be located beside the overflow carpark at Kilbroney Forest Park. Please note a £5 parking fee applies unless you hold a local pass. If you'd prefer, free parking is available on the roads outside the park entrance.

 PLEASE LEAVE NO TRACE

Kilbroney Forest Park is a place of outstanding natural beauty and we all want to keep it that way. Please take all litter home with you and leave the forest exactly as you found it. Together, let's protect the environment as much as we protect the animals.
