About Wink

Wink was admitted into our care as a young kitten who had a severe eye injury, after being monitored and examined by our veterinary team, the decision was made to remove the eye as it was badly damaged.

Wink is a very handsome boy who is looking to find the right home for him, where he can have his own time and space to settle. He has a nervous nature and can be quite nervous of people, he would benefit from having a hands-off approach initially, allowing him his own time to come out of his shell, at his own pace.

Wink will require owners who have experience with nervous cats, that will be patient with him and will take the time to help him build his confidence and trust with people.

Wink has a quiet personality, he thrives best in calm environments and although he is initially nervous, he has started to slowly come round with our animal care staff in our cattery. Wink is a social boy with other cats, he currently shares his cat house with Hector, they both have a shy nature and have found comfort in each others company. We believe he would benefit from living with another cat of similar personality who would be able to help grow his confidence in a home. In the right home environment,  we believe that Wink will become a great companion.

He is an independent boy who likes to be able to make his own choices and will approach you if he wants to enjoy some attention. Due to his nervous nature, he would prefer to live in an adult only home as he does not currently like to be handled.

Due to having only one eye, Wink would be best suited to an indoor only home.

It is unknown how Wink would react around dogs in the household.
