Newt

Newt is a very sweet boy looking to find himself a new home.

Newt can be initially a little nervous around new people and in new environments, but we are confident that if given the time and patience he will settle well into his new home. Once settled, Newt is a happy boy who loves people, he has a very loving personality and enjoys sitting on your knee getting plenty of fuss and attention! He has a very playful nature and loves bouncing around after a ball or squeaky toy!

We are unsure of his breed mix, but believe he will likely be small to medium in size once fully grown. Due to his initial nervous nature, he would be best suited to living in a home with children over the age of 12 years, who are used to dogs.

Due to his age, Newt is going to need plenty of regular exercise and stimulation. He will require an owner who is around regularly initially to help him settle into the home and who will be able to dedicate time to training as he will need all aspects of puppy training and house training. Newt is nervous with walking on the lead so will need his confidence built up with lead walking.

It is unknown how he would react around cats in the home but he may be able to share his home with another dog with gradual introductions.
