About Freddie

Freddie is a very handsome young cat who was admitted into our care after being found with an injured leg. After some rest and time with our animal care team, he is now ready to find himself a home.

Freddie is currently in foster care and our team have been getting regular updates on how he is getting on.

Whilst Freddie has been in foster, he can be nervous of new people who enter the home, however after 20 minutes or so of watching from a distance, he builds up the courage to come and say hello, showing off his very sweet and affectionate personality.

This handsome chap can often be found cuddling up and is still the reigning chief biscuit maker which he takes very seriously and expresses his affection by kneading love and sweetness into every biscuit he makes!

Freddie loves having a private cozy space where he can hide away for a cat nap, as he enjoys having his own space at times, especially as he settles and adjusts to his new environment.

Freddie is looking for a very special home, as he has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), which is a viral infection which causes affected cats to have a weaker immune system. FIV+ cats can and do live normal lives with certain boundaries in place.

It is important that he is housed to a single cat household but could potentially live with another FIV+ cat pending gradual introductions in the home. As well as this, he will have to be an indoor only cat.

Freddie would love to find a quieter more settled home, he could live with children over 10 years who are used to cats and can give him his own space to settle and adjust.
