About Derek
Derek was admitted into our care after he was found abandoned as only a young kitten. After time in our animal care team and in foster, he is now ready to find himself his new home.
Derek can initially be nervous with new people and will need some time to get used to his new owners and his new environment. However once he is used to you, he is a super sweet boy who enjoys the company of people and enjoys gentle head rubs. He would love to find a home where his new owners are around most of the day to help him settle and adjust into his environment.
Derek has a very lively personality and loves playing with his kitten friends in his pen. Due to his initial timid nature, he would be best suited in a home with children over 12 years of age who are used to cats. He could possibly share his home with another cat or dog pending gradual introductions into the home.
