Tara Kerr
Senior Veterinary Surgeon
Tara has been the Senior Veterinary Surgeon at USPCA since October 2023, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to animal welfare. Graduating from University College Dublin in 2017, Tara began her career in private practice before transitioning to the charity sector, where she has worked for the past several years. With a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, Tara is dedicated to providing compassionate care and creating tailored treatment plans that prioritise the well-being of both pets and their owners.
At home, Tara is a proud pet parent to four cats - three of whom were rescues - and also has two springer spaniels at her family home. A devoted animal lover, Tara enjoys the quirks and personalities of their feline companions while cherishing all things cat-related. Outside of work, she loves spending time with friends and family, traveling, and unwinding with the occasional cocktail.
