Young seagulls rescued after falling into a Drain.
USPCA called to the rescue of the young seagulls.
The USPCA were called after a member of the public heard distressed calls of a young bird which appeared to be trapped in a drain on Fountain Street in Belfast City Centre.
USCPA wildlife officer Francis Fox responded to the call and with the help of staff at First Source and Ace Drains it was a successful Rescue and Release.
On closer inspection there were two young seagulls which appeared to be uninjured, they were lifted out and with the parents stood nearby they were happily reunited.
Francis Fox the USPCA rescue officer said: “I’ve had to attend a lot of rescues over the years, but this is certainly one of the more unusual ones”
