Winston

Winston is a familiar face for many supporters of the USPCA. Just two months ago, as part of our ‘Virtual Vet Pawfest’ to celebrate the official launch of our refurbished veterinary suite, we appealed to our supporters to help us find the perfect name for Winston, or as we used to call him, ‘our little Frenchie.’

We had so many wonderful suggestions, but of course when we heard Winston, we knew it was a name worthy of him! The entire team grew very fond of him during his time here at the USPCA. At ten years of age, our understanding was that he unfortunately didn’t have the best of experiences in life and may have never really been considered a pet in his previous situation. We wanted to ensure that we found him the best home that could welcome him lovingly as a member of the family and share our love of his older nature. We’re so delighted to say he met his perfect match!

It’s now going on six weeks since he left the USPCA and he seems completely in his element with his new family. His owners adore him, describing him as such a lovely little dog full of character. Wanting cuddles 24/7, Winston is just the ‘pawfect’ companion and we’re so happy to hear it!
