USPCA respond to discovery of deceased dog in Keady

We are shocked and appalled to learn that a deceased dog has been discovered tied to a gate in Keady. It is evident from the imagery that the dog was in an emaciated state and has suffered tremendously at the hands of a cruel group or individual. Nothing excuses the abandonment of any animal, and the tragic ending this dog has experienced could have been avoided completely.

We are grateful for the action that this father and son took in reporting the incident. Although it was too late for this poor dog, it serves as a reminder of how important it is to report animal welfare concerns. We would like to support an appeal for further information that can be reported to the relevant authorities including district councils, the police on 101 or to ourselves who can liaise with enforcement agencies.
