Top honour for USPCA’s Colleen Tinnelly

Colleen Tinnelly, Chief Operating Officer with the USPCA lifted a coveted CO3 Leadership Award at the Annual Leadership Awards event at the Europa Hotel.  Colleen joined the USPCA in 2013 and has played a key leadership role navigating one of the oldest animal welfare charities in the world through change and growth.

Colleen has been front and centre of a range of programmes and projects to help propel the USPCA into NI’s leading animal welfare charity.  She has helped steer the organisation through considerable change and development.

Commenting on the award win, USPCA Chief Executive, Nora, said “I cannot think of a more worthy winner.  Colleen’s passion and dedication to advance animal welfare shines through in everything she does.  The Award recognises the leadership role she has played in helping us grow and develop, ultimately to do more for animals”.

Colleen collected the Leading Change CO3 Award at a prestigious event Thursday evening said:

“I am honoured and delighted to win this Award on behalf of the USPCA, it means a lot in that it is recognition that my contribution to the USPCA, a leading Animal Welfare charity has helped to improve and save so many animals lives, it is an absolute privilege to work for the USPCA and see every day the great work it does for animals.   We now want to continue to develop our services across Northern Ireland and advance Animal Welfare”.
