Swan Rescued and Released

Recently the USPCA received a call regarding a young cygnet that had misjudged its landing and had unfortunately came into contact with the fencing of children's playpark. It suffered minor injuries and did not have enough room to fly out of the enclosed space.

After being rescued by our Animal Rescue Officer, the cygnet was brought to our veterinary team for a thorough exanimation. After a few days of rest and recuperation here at the USPCA, we're delighted to report that the swan was fit for release!
