Swan Rescue

This swan was recently rescued from Bessbrook pond after it was found to be bullied and suffering from a leg injury which made it unable to stand.

Weak on arrival to the USPCA, the swan was examined by our veterinary team and spent some time gathering its strength before being released at a later date at a nearby waterway. This is our Animal Care Officer Chloe, releasing the swan!
