Established in 1836, the USPCA is the second oldest animal welfare charity in the world and its purpose has remained unchanged over that time – the prevention of cruelty and the relief of suffering in animals.

The charity is now recruiting for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon

You will lead the clinical team and be responsible for all aspects of clinical governance. In addition to clinical practice, you will have full budget responsibility, ensuring the effective use of USPCA resources, developing the service offering and controlling costs. You will be a multi-faceted RCVS registered veterinary surgeon able to demonstrate a strong track record of clinical practice, good communication skills, leadership and people management.

This is a varied small animal and wildlife practice offering the successful applicants the opportunity to gain valuable surgical and medical experience in a supportive environment. The clinic is well equipped with digital X-ray, In-house Laboratory and Ultrasound.
