Santa Paws Success at the USPCA

The USPCA hosted their annual Santa Paws event on Saturday the 14th of December at their charity store in Banbridge and on Sunday the 15th at the Animal Hospital in Newry. The Santa’s grotto with a difference welcomed over 100 Christmas canines and cats over the weekend.

Owners accompanied their waggy-tailed friends to meet and get a picture taken with the jolly man himself and of course to get a much deserving present. The USPCA runs this event every year which helps raise much needed funds for the charity who receive no government funding.

USPCA Development Manager Colleen Tinnelly said: “Santa Paws was once again a huge success this year and we want to thank everyone who came along with their four-legged companions and supported us.”

“It is always so lovely for us to see both old faces returning and new faces coming through our doors. Our pets are such an important part of our lives so it is no surprise owners want to include them in a festive photo with Santa! ”

“We hope everyone who came along enjoyed the day and hope to see you all again next year!”
