National Kitten Day at the USPCA
National Kitten Day at the USPCA
On the 10th of July, amidst our busiest kitten season yet, we acknowledged National Kitten Day by sharing to our social media channels just how demanding this kitten season is.
On our stories we presented a kitten count throughout the day, sharing photos and videos of each of the 67 kittens we had in the centre at the time - since then this number has increased to 100 despite a few being adopted! We also posted a fundraiser on our social media channels to raise money to help us continue the essential ongoing care of these kittens as well as the adult cats in our care.
The response to these social media posts was overwhelming! Thanks to those who viewed and donated, we have raised £990 and received a trolley full of kitten food. We are extremely grateful to everyone who has contributed. These donations help us to continue to provide the best care possible for these fur babies and many more which are sure to come into our care as kitten season continues. Once again, THANK YOU!
