Long Eared Owl Rescue in Co.Down

A concerned member of the public contacted the USPCA to inform us of an injured Owl discovered in a barrel in Milford Co. Down. The USPCA Rescue Officer was successfully able to secure the animal and safely take it to the Animal Hospital in Newry to be checked over by our veterinary team. Once examined the Owl appeared to have a slightly injured wing and is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
