It's Nicer to Neuter

Kitten season has been non-stop this summer, with unwanted cats and kittens being handed in to our team on a daily basis. Our dedicated Animal Care and Veterinary teams have given each and every one of them the care and treatment they have needed in order to get them ready to go back out to loving new homes.

We can offer subsidised neutering and microchipping of cats at our Newry Vet Centre to anyone on a low income, and Cats Protection also offer ‘snip & chip’ for just £10 contribution from owners at most Vets across Northern Ireland. This helps reduce the amount of unwanted litters, improve traceability of cats when they stray, and gives owners happier, healthier cats. It’s nicer to neuter!
