More About Ice

Meet Ice, a beautiful natured husky who was admitted back into our care as his owners were unable to continue to care for him, he is now ready to be adopted!

At the age of 8, Ice is full of life and has a playful nature that would make great company for any family. Due to a decrease in his stamina, Ice currently enjoys short regular exercise as he does enjoy his walks and time to sniff and explore, as well as off lead time in a secure garden.

Ice is very sociable and an outgoing boy who enjoys human interaction and contact, he would best suited in a home with older children who are dog-savvy and are used to being around big dogs. He is said to be ok with other dogs and could potentially live with another dog that has a similar personality to him upon successful meeting.

Ice will need patient and supportive owners while he adjusts into his new home, as he enjoys the company of people, we feel he will need owners who will provide him with the reassurance he needs to feel secure if left alone. The rehoming team at the centre will be happy to provide ongoing support and advice to help with the settling in process and ensure a smooth transition for Ice from the centre to his new home.

A home with owners who have husky experience would be recommended so that they can understand him and all his husky quirks!
