Hedgehog Rescued from Drain

Our Animal Rescue Officer recently saved this hedgehog from nearly drowning in a drain.

The poor little hedgehog was in a bad way when it first entered our care - weak, cold and soaking wet. 

After an examination from our veterinary team, the hedgehog appeared to be in good health and settled in to warm up and recover under our care. We're pleased to report that it has since been released safely back into the wild!
