Fundraising & Events Volunteer

Hours  –    Flexible    

Location – Will depend on event location

Minimum Age: 16 & Over      

Reports to – Events Coordinator

The purpose of the role is to assist in USPCA events, to increase fundraising income for the charity. We are looking for those who have a passion for animal welfare and share our values to join the Events Volunteering team.

Principle duties:

  • To promote public understanding of the work of the USPCA
  • To be an ambassador for the USPCA, supporting and endorsing the aims of the charity and promoting the good image of the charity when interacting with the public and fellow volunteers
  • To assist in ensuring that health & safety processes are followed and general maintenance issues are reported
  • To manage all data relating to clients in accordance with data protection legislation and confidentiality
  • To participate in events arranged by the USPCA such as open days, street collections or bag packs to help support the charitable work of the USPCA
