Charity Store Volunteer
Hours: Monday – Saturday: Morning / Afternoon (2 to 4-hour shift, depending on your availability and preference)
Location: USPCA Charity Store, 30 Newry Street, Banbridge or 58 Church Place, Lurgan
Minimum Age: 16 & Over
Report To: Store Supervisor
The purpose of the role is to assist in the day to day running of the USPCA charity store to maximise sales and increase fundraising income for the charity.
Principal Duties
- To assist and serve customers, providing a good level of customer service.
- To assist with processing donated stock, including sorting, cleaning, pricing and arranging of donated items.
- Restock the shelves when needed.
- To assist in the visual merchandising of the store and the display of items.
- To be involved with the till operation and the handling of cash
- To assist in daily tasks including cleaning, tidying and hoovering of the retail area.
- To assist in keeping the store and storage areas clean and organised at all times.
