Badger Rescued at Portaferry

A young Badger had got itself into difficulty along Portaferry beach, Co. Down and was minutes from drowning. The USPCA got to the Badger in time and admitted it to the Animal Hospital where he received treatment. After 3 days the Badger was released back to its sett in Strangford.  Our thanks to the Northern Ireland Badger Group for identifying the sett the badger belonged to.
