Badger Recovers at the USPCA
This year we felt very privileged to celebrate World Wildlife Day with a very special guest.
After falling off a wall at quite some height, this badger had taken refuge under an oil tank in a member of the public's back garden - not wanting to budge at all.
The badger was rescued by our Animal Rescue Officer who brought her to the USPCA for observation to ensure she didn't sustain any serious injuries.
We're delighted to report that she was safely released a short time later.
Did you know that from April 2019-March 2020, the USPCA rescued nearly 200 animals and issued over 700 veterinary vouchers to help injured animals. We are very grateful of your support which helps us support these vulnerable animals each year.
