Baby Hedgehogs in Foster
We had some very tiny inpatients at the USPCA veterinary suite after a member of the public brought these three very young hedgehogs into our care after they were sadly orphaned. Barely a couple of weeks old, the hedgehogs’ eyes were yet to open and were otherwise in good health.
The hedgehogs went into foster with a member of our veterinary team and have been thriving ever since! They have a great appetite and are no longer the tiny bundles that first entered our veterinary suite. We look forward to releasing them when they are ready.
