Archie
Archie was sadly found abandoned tied to a pole in car park shivering and in pain. Thankfully a member of the public found Archie and he was brought in to the USPCA Animal Hospital.
When Archie arrived at the centre, the staff were horrified at his condition and could see that there was a deep wound and infection around Archie’s neck. He received a health check from our veterinary team, some food, water and a nice warm bed. Over the next few days Archie received a course of anti-biotics and was under close supervision from our veterinary team. The team were not exactly sure of Archie’s breed because of the condition of his hair, but after a much needed groom we could tell he was a cavaishon.
Despite having been so badly neglected Archie’s spirit remained strong and he loved the attention he received from the USPCA team. After two weeks with us Archie was rehomed to a loving family who adore him. His neck has healed really well and he has settled in well to his new home.
