Spring has Sprung at the USPCA

The USPCA marked the beginning of Spring with a Tea Party which was hosted at the Animal Hospital in Carnbane Industrial Estate on Saturday the 23rd of March.  Supporters along with their four-legged friends were welcomed with tea, cakes, jumping clay, a book & beautiful flower pot sale.

The event was a huge success and the USPCA were delighted with the support they received from local people and loved welcoming past rescue animals back to the centre.  A total of £650.41 was raised on the day which will go towards the vital work the USPCA do for animals in Northern Ireland.

Pictured above is Bernie Loughran who is one of our Trek the Rockies participants. Bernie handmade some beautiful hanging flower pots to sell. A total of £110 was raised and will go towards her fundraising target.

John Wilson attended the event along with his dog Oakley. John rehomed Oakley from the USPCA last year and the pair have been inseparable ever since.

We are looking forward to hosting an Easter event which will take place on Saturday the 20th of April.
