BBC Newsline at the USPCA Animal Hospital Discussing Animal Welfare Legislation in Northern Ireland

Following one of the worse Animal Cruelty Cases seen by the PSNI and the USPCA, BBC Newline’s Donna Traynor visited the USPCA’s headquarters to interview Stephen Philpott USPCA and Jim Wells MLA on Animal Cruelty and Animal Welfare Legislation in Northern Ireland.

The Welfare of Animals Act (Northern Ireland) 2011, a law intended to protect our companion animals from neglect and abuse.

USPCA campaigned for this Legislation in Northern Ireland for many years.
